Pride Rock | Oil Painting
This painting is made up from a range of experiences in Tanzanias Serengeti National Park, where I came across lions using these rocks known as "koppie" for a range of different uses - for vantage points, just lazing about on and for hiding away their cubs. I wanted to capture these behaviours together, as well as the vastness of the open savannah.
100x76cm in an oak floating frame.
